On the golf course, the Pirate seems to thrive on risk and taking chances, even when the probability of success is low or the consequence of the out come. If there is an opening, however small, the pirate will go for it simply because he can. These golfers don’t weigh the odds and take the option with the lowest amount of risk. They go for it, sometimes to their own detriment.
They often posses more natural talent and skill than their peers, but that does not always equate with more victories and success. They are gamblers.
It is quite typical for a golfer with a Pirate personality to finish first. It is equally possible for this person to finish last. Often, they are all or nothing.
It is believed some of these golfers use the same traits off the golf course. They love and enjoy not only golf, but life as well.
